Let me just say, my camera is dying. No jokes about it being the subject and not the camera’s fault, either! Here are the two new dresses I bought today. On Friday, I’ll most likely go back and pick up the two other dresses I put back today. I just can’t decide and love them all. I’m so excited about the coming Spring and being able to pack  up all my heavy sweaters!!

I really love this one! It goes great with the hair band I made and I can warm it up with black tights and a button down dress jacket or lighten it up with sandals and a ponytail!

I indulged in a little R&R shopping today on my lunch break at Ross. They are having this HUGE dress sale and I picked up the two most adorable dresses. Both of which will match two of my newly crafted headbands. I’ll post dress up pics tonight! (After my long, boring council session, that is!)

I’m stressing! Tonight is the City Council Work Session, so my boss will most likely be on OVERLOAD today. It’s my job to keep her calm and be completely prepared for anything. And, it’s gonna be a LONG day.

In better news, I found a girl-date to the Art Show on Thursday night. My wonderful friend, Kim, is going to join  me for dinner at Jackson 20 (dining out to help the DINE OUT! program my co-worker is involved in). Then, we will be walking down King St to the Torpedo Factory for some Women in Art celebrations! I’m very excited.

I’ll definitely post pics.

BTW, we didn’t get the house we wanted, but we are optimistic about a number of other properties so I’m keeping my head up.

Last night, Dave had a late night meeting. I should have spent the evening crafting but I was dancing instead! Jack loves when I dance with my headphones in because it means I will kick around his soccer ball. Annabelle runs and hides under the couch for fear of me stepping on her crazy-long tail! Also, her birthday is next Tuesday, and I’m so excited. My little pretty pretty princess will be one year old. Her jaws and paws have gotten very VERY powerful. I think it’s from defending herself from her big brother for the past year. ha. ha.

Anyway, the boss should be in any minute, brace for impact!!

I have such a busy week planned already. I’m very happy that I got to enjoy such a beautiful, fun day with my boyfriend and my sister. Tomorrow, it’s back to busy, busy, busy! Tuesday night I have City Council Work Session (presenting the budget, after all). Thursday night is the Minds Wide Open art show at the Torpedo Factory Art Center. Then, Saturday is Shamrock Fest 2010 with Meredith and Kelly!! All of these events are on TOP of working a full five days at the office with six, count ‘em, SIX meetings this week! I’m going to take tons of pictures at the Art Show and Shamrock Fest, so be looking for those! I also want to get started on my newly purchased paper dolls (RVA) 2D doll house project AND the ‘pandria’ small canvas prints project. Oh, and on Sunday, I’ll be helping a friend build her inversion chair. (yelps!) So much to do this week! And, I know my dogs won’t let me forget to find time for their puppy lovin’!
