Weekend Wind Down

I went slightly over my calorie count today. *sniff* But, those honey croissants were just SOO good. Tomorrow, it’s back to peas and carrots (figuratively speaking, of course). Not that I mind peas or carrots, just got to watch those tempting sweets! I’ve decided to rearrange my weigh in day. Technically, my diet started on September 1st, which was Wednesday. But, I actually spent that entire day tracking what I would NORMALLY have eaten. So, it really doesn’t count. I decided it would be easiest to do weigh ins on Monday mornings. I didn’t do today because it’s been less than a week and I don’t want to get my hopes up. So, first weigh-in will be Monday, September 13th.

This week is filling up fast. I’m going to be super busy with professional and personal related items. This week starts my clogging II class, which I’ve very much been looking forward to. I spent about a gazillion dollars on new shoes WITH the buck tap (fancy spancy) and I’m dying to use them for real!

I may have picked up a new client and I’m excited to see how that unfolds. I wasn’t planning to pick up additional business but always happy to jump in and save the day, Mighty Mouse style!

On a side note, I’ve revamped my blog. I want to get back into blogging daily. Not just on my weight loss journey but in tracking my crazy life in general. It keeps me sane.

Two new developing features are:

Skinspiration – This topic will be exactly what it sounds like: weekly inspiring photos of fit women to keep me motivated and on track with my weight loss goals.

Weekend Wind Down- This will also be a weekly post of a longer sort, to recap my life that week, sort of like a journal.

I’m still developing some more ideas, such as a weekly craft project and a weekly tech crunch type post. Stay tuned for those details.
